Procurement Manager

To lead overall procurement operations, vendor management, and strategy. The ideal candidates need to have strong expertise in related SAP Modules, proven experience in vendor development, cost optimization, and knowledge of renewable energy equipment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead team of buyers. At the same time needs to play active role in Operational Purchase requirements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with renewable energy equipment requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with domestic and international suppliers.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Drive procurement processes using SAP
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and risks to optimize procurement decisions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance teams to support operational needs.
• Lead procurement team and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
• Manage import procurement of renewable energy equipment, raw materials, and components.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for smooth shipment handling.
• Stay updated on global market trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
• Support vendor audits, performance reviews, and strategic sourcing.
• Maintain supplier databases and procurement records.
