Job Description

We are seeking a Product Designer with deep expertise in Figma, UX research, and design systems, to drive user-centered innovation across our flagship MyPay platform — a mission-critical, cross-platform SaaS solution serving enterprise clients in the HCM, Payroll, and HR Technology space.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of employee financial wellness and HR digital experiences across desktop (web) and mobile (iOS & Android) platforms using Flutter. This is a high-impact, strategic role requiring collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design processes across discovery, design, handoff, and post-launch evaluation, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
  • Conduct user research including interviews, usability testing, journey mapping, and information architecture (IA) to uncover insights and validate assumptions during discovery and iterative phases.
  • Design responsive, desktop-first web experiences with a strong focus on usability, consistency, and performance across all screen sizes.
  • Deliver high-fidelity, production-ready mobile designs for iOS and Android using Flutter UI conventions, while respecting platform-specific patterns and constraints.
  • Build and maintain a scalable, shared design system and style guide in Figma, leveraging Auto Layout, Components, and Dev Mode for seamless developer handoff.
  • Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards; conduct accessibility audits and lead remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs, including React component awareness and Flutter UI conventions.
  • Facilitate design workshops and stakeholder sessions using FigJam / Miro for journey mapping, ideation, and alignment.
  • Integrate analytics insights (Segment, Amplitude) into the design process to inform decisions and measure impact.
  • Champion design thinking and user-centricity within Agile/Scrum teams; actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and design critique sessions.
  • Maintain and evolve design documentation, including component specs, design tokens, and usage guidelines.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/Master's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in product design, preferably in enterprise SaaS, HCM, Payroll, or HR Tech platforms.
  • Mandatory: Expert proficiency in Figma, including:
  • Advanced use of Auto Layout
  • Mastery of Components, Variants, and Dev Mode
  • Production-level design handoff to developers
  • Mandatory: Proven experience in UX Research – conducting user interviews, journey mapping, and information architecture.
  • Mandatory: Expertise in responsive web design (desktop-first) with a focus on scalability and consistency.
  • Mandatory: Advanced experience in mobile app design (iOS & Android) with a strong understanding of platform-specific UX patterns.
  • Mandatory: Experience building and maintaining design systems and style guides with shared component libraries across multiple products.
  • Mandatory: Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards; experience with accessibility audits and remediation.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Flutter UI conventions and mobile cross-platform design constraints.
  • Preferred: Awareness of React component architecture and collaboration with web development teams.
  • Preferred: Understanding of analytics UX — integrating Segment or Amplitude into design workflows.
  • Preferred: Experience using FigJam or Miro for facilitation, journey mapping, and stakeholder workshops.
  • Required: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with active participation in sprint ceremonies and design-dev collaboration.
