Job Description: Product Manager / Product Owner – FCC (AI-led KYC/AML Platform)

Location: Mumbai / Pune

Role Overview

Opportunity to build and scale AI-driven KYC/AML products used for automated onboarding, compliance, and financial crime prevention across global financial institutions. We are looking for a Product Manager / Product Owner with strong Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) expertise in AML, KYC, and Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) . The role involves managing a suite of products combining AI/ML, workflow orchestration, and compliance platforms .

Product Ecosystem (Scope of Role)

You will be working across multiple integrated products:

• AI/ML-based KYC Platform – Automated screening, document verification, and risk detection
• Workflow Orchestration Engine – Manages KYC case routing across internal teams and external systems
• Compliance Manager (Flagship CLM Product) – End-to-end KYC lifecycle, onboarding, and periodic reviews
• Document AI / Data Extraction Platform – OCR-based data extraction, multilingual processing, and ingestion from public/paid data sources

Key Responsibilities

Product Ownership & Delivery

• Own end-to-end product lifecycle – roadmap, backlog, prioritization, and releases
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
• Drive Agile delivery across cross-functional squads (BAs, Tech, Data teams)

Domain & Solutioning (FCC)

• Lead product initiatives across:
• KYC / CDD / EDD / CLM
• AML Transaction Monitoring & Screening
• Design domain-led, scalable solutions aligned with regulatory requirements
• Drive KYC transformation and process re-engineering initiatives

AI / Data & Automation

• Define and drive AI/ML-led use cases in FCC such as:
• Automated KYC verification
• Document intelligence & extraction (OCR)
• Case summarization & risk scoring
• Work with data teams on data ingestion, interpretation, and analytics-driven insights

Workflow & Orchestration

• Design and optimize workflow orchestration across KYC lifecycle
• Manage case routing and coordination across internal teams and external systems
• Improve operational efficiency through automation and workflow optimization

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with:
• Business & Compliance teams
• Technology & Architecture teams
• Operations stakeholders
• Conduct requirement workshops, gap analysis, and solution discussions
• Define and track product success metrics (KPIs)

Consulting & Strategy

• Support solutioning, RFPs, and transformation initiatives in FCC domain
• Drive product innovation and adoption strategies
• Contribute to digital transformation in AML/KYC space

Required Skills & Experience

Must Have

• 7–15 years of experience in BFSI domain (mandatory)
• Strong expertise in:
• AML / KYC / Financial Crime Compliance (FCC)
• Product Manager / Product Owner role
• Experience in:
• Agile / Scrum delivery
• Requirement management & backlog grooming
• Stakeholder management across business & tech

Good to Have

• Experience with FCC platforms:
• Fenergo, Actimize, NetReveal, Quantexa, or similar CLM tools
• Exposure to:
• AI/ML, Document AI (OCR), Data extraction tools
• Workflow / orchestration platforms
• Experience in global banking or fintech environments
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (AML/KYC guidelines, FATF, etc.)

• FCC domain expert with Product Management / Product Ownership experience
• Experience working on KYC/AML platforms or compliance products
• Exposure to AI-led transformation, workflow tools, or document intelligence systems
• Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable digital products
