PRODUCT MANAGER III At City National Bank, the Product Management function includes the following responsibilities: Develop, manage, and own products and programs that support corporate‑defined strategies and initiatives and contribute to the bank’s competitive edge. Create new products to increase market share. Develop and enhance strategic products to meet the bank’s profitability goals.

Provide direction and support regarding product design, enhancement, research, pricing/fees/profitability, implementation, analysis, reporting and performance. What Will You Do? Manage assigned products and product lines.

Identify, evaluate and implement measures to improve product performance, profitability, competitiveness and accountability. Identify, evaluate and implement opportunities for product enhancement and development based on market and competitor analysis, client needs, PRC suggestions or bank initiatives. Prepare reports and analyses on assigned products and present to Bank Management (PRC, ALCO, etc.) on a regular basis.

Keep up to date on competition, regulation, marketplace and internal and external issues related to assigned products. Develop information materials on product features, benefits, requirements, pricing and services, and prepare and execute training seminars as needed. Review product pricing annually for all assigned products and recommend implementation of changes.

Monitor development activities related to meeting product objectives, budget, quality standards and schedule. Recommend and implement programs to minimize costs, ensure optimum output and maintain quality. Participate in product evaluation and provide recommendations for changes and revisions as required.

Serve as product expert providing guidance on sales, positioning and operational support for technical product issues. Manage acquisition conversion product management activities. Represent the Bank in civic and community affairs, industry organizations and other professional activities as appropriate.

Maintain good relationships with colleagues to ensure integrated processes and customer service levels. Maintain current awareness and understanding of banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures, and comply fully with them. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of product management experience.

Minimum 3 years of financial industry experience. Minimum 3 years of experience managing medium to large projects. Additional Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, analytical, planning and scheduling skills. Strong leadership and negotiation skills. Extensive industry/business knowledge.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation skills. Proven experience creating and maintaining positive business relationships with unit managers. Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with advanced programs beneficial. What's in it for you?

Compensation Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. This position is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
