Job Description
What we are looking for:
● 4+ years of work experience in a product management role, preferably in fintech,
lending, or credit products
● Experience with product-led journeys for financial products, ideation and funnel
improvements
● Nice to have: Proven experience building lending or credit product flows, loan
origination journeys, underwriting experiences, and repayment flows in Indian
digital finance. Deep understanding of the lending ecosystem, customer behavior,
RBI/NBFC regulatory requirements, FLDG norms, KYC/AML compliance, and India’s
credit infrastructure
● Good track record in designing product solutions to solve business problems.
Obsessed with providing the highest quality product and experience to the
customer
● Ability to create a strategic product roadmap to achieve business objectives and get
buy-ins from senior stakeholders. Effectively use 80/20 to identify
projects/initiatives with biggest impact
● Experience in working with Engineering to drive the product roadmap. Ability to
organize, manage, and prioritize tasks with engineering through multiple product
release cycles
● Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience working with large datasets;
proficiency in SQL, Python, and BigQuery for data analysis, experimentation, and
insight generation. Comfortable working directly with data pipelines and BI tools to
drive data-informed decisions
● Experience in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of new products or services
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the requirements are constantly
changing
● Sound understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the Indian
lending landscape — including RBI guidelines, Fair Practices Code, digital lending
norms, data localization, and privacy obligations (DPDPA). Ability to embed
regulatory thinking into product design from day one
● High ownership mindset with strong accountability for outcomes, especially in a
sensitive data environment. Experience handling PII, financial data, and credit
bureau data responsibly, with a solid grasp of data governance and security best
practices
● Fair understanding of AI/ML workflows and the ability to collaborate with data
science teams to build AI-native product features — such as smart underwriting,
personalized loan offers, intelligent nudges, and conversational loan servicing.
Curiosity to leverage LLMs and generative AI in building next-gen lending
experiences
As a Product Manager you will:
● Develop a deep understanding of your product area -lending flows, credit
lifecycle, underwriting logic, and the broader Indian lending ecosystem -and
translate that into impactful product decisions
● Conduct in-depth user research to understand user needs, pain points, and
behaviors.
● Use data, metrics and qualitative customer inputs to define the product roadmap
for the short, medium and long term.
● Own the product/business metrics for features & product releases
● Create quality PRDs, work and with Engineering and UI/UX team to deliver product
releases with top notch app experiences.
● Constantly analyse the product performance against ROI, KPIs, and other metrics
to improve performance.
● Work hands-on with large datasets using SQL, Python, and BigQuery to analyze
user behavior, monitor product health, run experiments, and generate actionable
insights.
● Collaborate with different teams and senior leadership to drive the product
agenda.
● Ensure all product features and flows adhere to applicable regulatory frameworks
-RBI digital lending guidelines, Fair Practices Code, KYC/AML norms, and DPDPA.
Work closely with the legal and compliance teams to proactively identify and
mitigate regulatory risks before they become blockers.
● Manage and govern access to sensitive customer data (PII, financial records,
bureau data) with strong data stewardship practices. Drive privacy-by-design
principles across product development.
● Partner with data science and ML teams to ideate, prioritize, and ship AI-native
lending features -such as intelligent credit decisioning, personalized offer
engines, risk-based pricing, and AI-powered customer servicing — with a keen
understanding of model inputs, outputs, and product trade-offs
