Product Specialist (Life Insurance)

WHAT TO EXPECTWe are looking for a Product Specialist who will be assisting on the Product Team's day-to-day operations, such as conducting customer research and competitors’ analysis. WHAT YOU'LL DO Generate, develop and maintain product documentationsAssist in upkeep of product comparison & related systemsCollaborate with Product Due Diligence team in delivering timely product launchesOrganize product trainings, maintain a log of training attendance & manage the training recordingsParticipate in discussions with sales force to gather feedback on product propositions & align business needs with company product strategyConduct customer research and competitors’ analysesAssist in preparation of presentation deck to Product Team Lead for ongoing firm level presentationsAbility to handle product queries from internal/external stakeholders and resolve product issues & enquiriesMaintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies

WHO YOU AREBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Actuarial, Insurance, Finance or Marketing related disciplinesPreferably with at least 3 - 5 years of working experience. Experience in insurance related sales environment & on-going trends will be a strong advantage.Certifications/licenses – CMFAS M5, M9, M9A, HI Special skills preferredProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel, Word & PowerPointPossess strong traits of analytical mind and good communication skills to articulate ideas in a simplified and laymen manner to stakeholdersMeticulous & attention to detailsProactive, positive mindset and highly adaptable to changesAble to multitask and work well with tight timelines
