About the Role We are looking for a Provider Recruitment Specialist to strategically identify and generate new leads for provider recruitment to the Aflac Dental and Vision network. You will work closely with various internal departments to optimize the recruitment and onboarding process and maintain a strong provider network. Salary Range $70,000 - $90,000 Job Posting End Date April 10, 2026 Work Designation If you live within 25 miles of the Aflac offices in Tampa, FL, this role will be hybrid – expected to work in the office at least 60% of the work week. If you live more than 25 miles from Tampa, FL, this role will be remote – you will work from home with occasional trips to the office as needed. Travel ≤ 50% Principal Duties & Responsibilities Strategically identify and generate new leads for provider recruitment to the Aflac Dental and Vision network. Recruit and maintain an adequate provider’s network in assigned regions. Obtain and submit accurate provider applications for credentialing and contracting. Build and maintain relationships with provider prospects & partners to ensure high satisfaction and results. Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal departments to optimize recruitment and onboarding processes. Maintain strong business relationships with providers and champion their requests. Negotiate/re‑negotiate contracts and fees with providers while managing utilization and cost. Identify and problem‑solve issues daily to sustain relationships and reduce attrition. Monitor reports to ensure all network requirements are met. Perform network audit duties to ensure directory accuracy and compliance. Take prompt action on provider communications for quick resolution. Track assigned duties and activities using company resources. Use knowledge of negotiating entities to improve competitive advantage in contracting. Facilitate external leadership meetings to drive strategic alignment and execution of network goals. Perform other duties as needed. Education & Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. 3+ years of experience in customer service, provider service, network development, or telephone sales. Experience in negotiating sales to move a business forward. Familiarity with contract negotiations. Education & Experience Preferred Sales territory management experience, including contract negotiations and fee schedule negotiations in a network development related field. Qualifications Experienced in external facing contract review and negotiations. Efficient and concise communication skills (verbal and written). Organizational skills and resourcefulness. Excellent time‑management capabilities. Customer focused with drive to strengthen partnership and resolve issues immediately. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to analyze data for identifying trends and variance from goals. Ability to work autonomously. Ability to educate regarding an outcome, even if unfavorable. Ability to evaluate data and identify action plans / recruitment plans and solutions based on data. Basic Microsoft Suite knowledge. Willingness to be a thought partner with other team members and departments. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced competitive environment. Total Rewards Base salary $70,000 – $90,000, based on education, experience, location, and other factors.
