Public Relations Account Executive

Adfactors PR is looking for smart and energetic #PublicRelations professionals for our BFSI Practice – Account Executives & Senior Executives who are eager to #learn, #collaborate and #growtogether.

The ideal candidate will be a naturally curious professional with a strong interest in business, finance and economy - constantly reading, listening and engaging with stakeholders to stay on top of market trends, policy developments, consumer behaviour and the evolving media agenda.

He/She will have an eye for detail, a quick learning curve, the ability to understand complex BFSI issues, and the curiosity to propose informed opinions on how to communicate clients’ business narratives effectively. Knowledge and flexibility to adapt to the fast-changing digital and social media landscape would be an added advantage.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Manage and execute multiple BFSI client operations including media advisories, press releases, leadership profiling, weekly reports and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets and quality standards
2. Contribute to developing client communication strategies across traditional, digital and social media platforms
3. Help clients navigate the dynamic financial communications environment, regulatory developments, market trends and proactively manage their reputation
4. Build and nurture strong client relationships to drive trust, confidence and long-term partnerships
5. Develop and maintain relationships with key BFSI journalists, editors and influencers
6. Support Account Directors in identifying and generating new business opportunities
7. Track news developments in the BFSI sector and prepare timely media pitches and story ideas
8. Collaborate across teams and practices to deliver integrated communication solutions
9. Assist in managing client reviews, reports and campaign effectiveness
10. Contribute to a positive team environment by mentoring juniors and supporting their professional growth

What we’re looking for:

• 1-5 years of experience in PR/Communications (BFSI experience preferred)
• Strong educational grounding in Finance - CFA background highly desirable
• Strong writing and presentation skills
• Interest in financial markets, banking, insurance, fintech and policy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
