Quality Control Inspector

3rd Shift-Quality Control Inspector Latrobe, PA

CHS is partnering with a manufacturer specializing in plastic injection molding to hire a Quality Inspector. In this role, you'll ensure all in-process products meet required specifications through inspections, documentation, and clear communication with production teams. You will play a key part in supporting overall product quality by conducting tests, overseeing rework as needed, and maintaining accurate, organized records.

Shift/Hours: 3rd shift 11:45p-8:30a; training on 8a-4p

Pay: $15.50/hour

What You'll Do:

• Approve in-process production by verifying specifications, performing visual inspections, and completing measurement tests.
• Conduct audits of in-process product boxes, apply labels, and tag approved finished boxes.
• Provide production teams with guidance on acceptable vs. reject conditions and ask clarifying questions when requirements are unclear.
• Communicate identified quality issues to foremen, crew leaders, and operators to support corrective action.
• Perform sorting and rework activities and verify completed work when necessary.
• Complete inspection reports, logs, and summaries of rework and scrap.
• Document and communicate process and product standards for Production use.

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Working knowledge of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and height indicators.
• Able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to work mandatory weekend overtime, occasional voluntary overtime, and adjust schedules for coverage when needed.
• Ability to work any shift and complete required training on the 8-4 shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
