Job title: QC Inspector

Location: 4420 West Greens Rd, Houston, TX.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm approx.

Pay rate: $25-28ph, depends on experience

Contract: 6-12months. Possibility to convert Full Time.

Interviews: 2 phone screenings and 1 onsite interview.

Weatherford, a global energy services company, is looking to hire their next QC inspector.

QUALITY

  • Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management System

  • Maintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement.

OPERATIONS

  • Check and test samples of a product.

  • Inspect products purchased by their company from suppliers and maintain records of supplier performance.

  • To carry out the inspection related activities of all components and assemblies

  • Dimensional and visual in-process inspection in conjunction with controlled drawings and applicable specifications.

  • Receiving inspection of all jobs performed in the facility

  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

  • Responsible for inspecting products using established inspection tools and techniques.

  • Apply Weatherford, and where appropriate Client Company Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Management

Systems.

  • Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. •Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

COMMUNICATION

  • Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external.

REQUIREMENTS

· 4+ years of experience in an inspection role in a similar manufacturing/repair & maintenance environment.

  • · High school diploma or GED.
