Job Description
Addison Group is seeking a Junior Recruiter to support high-volume hiring and onboarding efforts for our client's operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple hiring activities, and supporting employees throughout the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support full-cycle recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, hiring, and onboarding for replacement staffing needs
- Manage interview scheduling and adjust timelines based on operational demand
- Ensure all hiring and application steps are completed in alignment with internal policies and employment regulations
- Lead new hire orientation sessions, reviewing company expectations, policies, and procedures
- Initiate and track background screenings according to client and compliance requirements
- Enter and update employee information in the time and attendance system, including changes as needed
- Track union documentation and coordinate required union-related submissions
- Partner with payroll to help resolve timekeeping or pay-related questions in a timely and professional manner
- Escalate employee relations or client concerns to HR leadership when appropriate
- Provide front desk and reception coverage for the operations team as needed, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting, HR coordination, or administrative support (staffing or operations experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Professional communication and customer service skills
