Position Summary

The Recruiter/HR Coordinator is a dual-impact role responsible for identifying top talent for production labor while providing critical administrative support to the HR department. You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly and production positions and serve as a key point of contact for employees regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR inquiries. This role requires a professional who can operate with a sense of urgency in a high-growth industrial environment.

Recruitment Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Recruiting: Execute candidate identification and screening strategies, from sourcing and interviewing to extending offers and managing pre-employment/onboarding for hourly and production labor.

• Strategic Sourcing: Source and screen talent through ADP (ATS), job boards, social media, and sourcing websites.

• Hiring Manager Partnership: Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and candidate profiles to meet hiring targets.

• Candidate Experience: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates to ensure a positive and professional experience throughout the entire recruitment process.

• Outreach & Exposure: Participate in job fairs, community networking events, and other talent acquisition activities to boost company exposure and source hard-to-fill positions.

• Onboarding: Initiate and assist new hires with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.

HR & Administrative Responsibilities

• Payroll & Timekeeping: Ensure all timecards are complete and approved by weekly deadlines and handle the submission of payroll.

• Administrative Support: Assist the Director of Human Resources with daily HR support, including maintaining updated employee records in the HRIS system and filing mandatory reports or audits.

• Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding people processes, policies, benefits, and leave of absence (LOA) requests.

• Compliance & Reporting: Assist with the preparation of EEO-1 filings and ensure compliance with all employment laws and collective bargaining agreements (CBA) where applicable.

• Special Projects: Partner with the Director of HR on the disciplinary process, organizational improvements, and company events as requested.

Position Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s level degree in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: 0-1 years of support experience within an HR Department
  • Experience: 2-3 years strong background in full-cycle recruitment (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting).
  • Language: Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is required to support the workforce effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like ADP.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and external entities.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and regularly walk the shop floor to interface with production employees.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000
