Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, specialized nursing care to neonatal patients, monitoring their health and developmental needs.
- Administer medications, blood products, and other therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Assess patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and maintain meticulous medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Offer emotional support and clear, simple education to patient families.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment, with a strong emphasis on family-centered care.
- Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- A California Registered Nurse License is required upon hire.
- A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
- A National Provider NRP from the American Academy of Pediatrics is required upon hire.
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is required.
