Overview
We are seeking a mission‑driven Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead the global technical infrastructure of Sync with God’s online discipleship platform. This leader will oversee the integration of WordPress (Divi Builder), Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and the Pathwright platform to ensure seamless course delivery, internationalization, security, communication, and scalability. The CTO will build a technical architecture that supports global publishing, translation workflows, marketing funnels, automation, and multilingual course delivery.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership & Systems Architecture
- Develop and implement a long‑term digital strategy for course delivery, marketing, and international expansion.
- Build an integrated ecosystem connecting WordPress (Divi theme) — public‑facing site & landing pages; Google Workspace — team collaboration, cloud storage, workflows; Microsoft 365 — productivity suite, security, documentation; Pathwright — course delivery, user experience, assessments, certifications.
- WordPress & Divi Management
- Oversee all technical aspects of the SyncWithGod.com (or related) site.
- Manage Divi layouts, child themes, page templates, and conversion‑optimized funnels.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness, fast performance, and SEO readiness.
- Manage hosting, backups, security, and plugin ecosystem.
- Pathwright Technical Support & Course Implementation
- Serve as the primary technical lead for building, importing, and supporting courses in Pathwright.
- Troubleshoot content delivery, user access, cohorts, pathways, and progress tracking.
- Manage integrations between Pathwright and email platforms, CRM, analytics, and payment gateways.
- Enable scalable translation workflows for international course rollout.
- Productivity & Collaboration Systems
- Configure and optimize Google Workspace for file management, forms, workflows, collaboration, and automation.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 for secure document management, SharePoint structure, Teams integration, and digital asset organization.
- Multilingual Translation Infrastructure
- Build systems for handling multi‑language course copies, subtitles/closed captions, websites, emails, and downloadable resources.
- Implement translation workflows using AI, volunteers, or translation teams.
- Marketing & Automation Systems
- Integrate marketing tools with WordPress & Pathwright.
- Set up email automation, CRM tagging, lead capture, funnel tracking, analytics, and support social media integration, video delivery, and content distribution.
- Technical Support & Training
- Provide support to teams, partners, and course facilitators around the world.
- Create onboarding documentation, training videos, and toolkits for course partners.
- Establish help desk processes for global learners.
Qualifications
- Experience as a CTO, Technical Director, Technical Project Manager, or Senior Web Architect.
- Expert in WordPress + Divi Builder, including custom CSS and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with online learning platforms—preferably Pathwright.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, automation platforms (Zapier/Make), analytics, and email systems.
- Ability to create scalable structures for internationalization and translation.
- Clear communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Passion for discipleship, online learning, and global ministry.
Preferred Experience
- Building multilingual websites and handling localization.
- Setting up secure data environments for global users.
- Creating automation between LMS, CRM, email, and marketing tools.
- Experience in ministry, missions, or spiritual formation organizations.
