Retail Operations Executive (Merchandiser Operations)

Job DescriptionManage and oversee daily operations of sales promoters/merchandisers (PSV) across assigned areasEnsure in-store execution aligns with company standards (planogram, visibility, display, stock availability)Monitor merchandiser attendance, performance, and productivityCoordinate deployment, scheduling, and coverage of merchandisers in all outletsConduct regular store visits to audit execution and provide on-ground coachingCollaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and promotionsTrack and analyze retail performance data (sell-out, stock level, display compliance)Handle operational issues in stores and provide quick problem-solvingMaintain strong relationships with store management and distributorsPrepare regular reports on field activities, issues, and performance insights

RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fieldMinimum 2–4 years of experience in Retail Operations / Merchandising / Field Sales (preferably in FMCG industry)Proven experience managing merchandisers or sales promotersStrong understanding of in-store execution, planogram, and retail operationsGood analytical skills and ability to interpret sales/data reportsStrong leadership and people management skillsWilling to travel frequently and do field visitsGood communication and coordination skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting toolsAble to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
