RN-Clinical Service Line Lead

Albany Medical Center, a leading healthcare system renowned for its pioneering hospital and medical college, is seeking an experienced RN-Clinical Service Line Lead to oversee our dynamic team in providing innovative nursing care across specialized units. This leadership position requires an individual committed to maintaining our tradition of excellence in medical education, research, and patient care. The successful candidate will spearhead initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, supervise clinical staff, and ensure adherence to the highest standards of nursing practice.

Lead nursing operations across various clinical services. Develop and implement strategies for service improvement. Supervise and mentor clinical staff to ensure quality and efficiency.

Manage patient care protocols and compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Monitor and manage budgetary allocations within the service line.

Participate in research and educational initiatives to advance nursing practices. Leadership and management in a healthcare setting Strong clinical skills in patient care Ability to mentor and develop staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards Budgeting and financial management Capacity to integrate research and clinical practice Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Certification in Healthcare Leadership, such as NE-BC or CNML BLS/ACLS certification
