Jewelry Career Apprenticeship – Not Typical Retail

This is not a typical retail role; it is a three-year professional apprenticeship. This position is a fit for those seeking a long-term career with an eventual earning potential of $65,000 to $90,000. Because we were named "America's Best Jeweler," our standards are high: you will receive robust on-the-job training, which must be paired with a minimum of 100 hours of home study during your first three months. Saturdays are required.

This is a highly technical and creative role: your focus will be on consultative selling, designing one-of-a-kind custom jewelry, and identifying repairs. Our Jewelry Consultants are lifelong learners who are all certified in jewelry and gemology, and are constantly making efforts to learn more!

Key Responsibilities

• Consultative sales and client relationship building
• Repair consultation and custom jewelry design
• Store operations (opening/closing, displays, maintenance)
• Ongoing learning and certification

Core Qualifications

• Required: 2+ years in customer service, hospitality, or fine dining
• Not required: Jewelry experience - we train the right person!
• Genuine enjoyment of people and building relationships
• Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Comfortable with technology and learning new systems
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Available Saturdays, occasional evenings and holidays

Your Investment & Earning Potential

This isn't just a job—it's a career that requires commitment from both of us.

Training Phase (~3-6 months): You'll receive paid on-the-job training at $20/hour with a trainer and structured curriculum. We also require approximately 100 hours of unpaid home study during this period (many invest more).

Expected Earnings Growth:

• Year 1.5-2: $45K-$60K + benefits
• Year 3-5+: $65K-$80K + benefits
• Top performers: $90K+
