Sales Lead – Healthcare Tech (Kerala)

About the Role

We're scaling a token management system for clinics and hospitals across Kerala and we need a Sales Lead who has done this before — built a field sales team, driven adoption on the ground, and owned results end to end.

This is a field-first role. You'll be out every day with your team, visiting clinics, solving activation problems, and making sure what gets onboarded actually gets used. If you've led a healthcare or pharma field sales team and you know what it takes to build ground-level discipline and results, this is the role.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of Business Development Executives spread across Kerala
  • Be on the field regularly alongside your team — this is not a role managed from a desk
  • Own clinic activation, not just onboarding numbers — success is active daily usage across your territory
  • Build and enforce a repeatable clinic visit, onboarding, and reactivation playbook
  • Run daily check-ins and field rides to coach executives and maintain accountability
  • Identify why clinics go inactive after onboarding and fix it systematically — staff retraining, product issue escalation, owner re-engagement
  • Track team performance, clinic pipeline, and activation status consistently
  • Coordinate with product and onboarding teams when ground-level issues need internal resolution
  • Feed market insights back to leadership to improve product and growth strategy

What We're Looking For

  • 4–6 years of field sales experience in healthcare, pharma, or medical devices
  • Proven experience building and managing a field sales team — not a first-time people manager
  • Someone comfortable being on the ground regularly, not just overseeing from a distance
  • Strong track record of driving adoption or usage metrics, not just acquisition numbers
  • Excellent communication in Malayalam and English
  • Organised, data-driven, and honest in reporting
  • Comfortable operating in an early-stage environment where you'll be building systems, not inheriting them

What This Role Is Not

  • This is not a remote or hybrid role
  • This is not a role where field visits are occasional — ground presence is core to the job for the foreseeable future
  • This is not for someone expecting a fully built team, territory, or playbook to walk into

Job Details

  • Type: Full-time, on-field
  • Location: Kerala (Kozhikode, Kannur, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Alappuzha)
  • Working Days: 6 days (half-day Saturday)
  • Travel: Regular field travel across Kerala
