Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce QA Tester with strong expertise in Robot Framework to ensure high-quality Salesforce releases. The role involves testing Salesforce configurations, integrations, and deployments while working closely with development and release teams.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of Salesforce experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Robot Framework
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce testing (functional, regression, UAT support)
- Experience with Copado CI/CD, version control, and release management
- Good understanding of Salesforce deployments, metadata, and environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Variable Management & Scoping: Expects the candidate to demonstrate how to use ${scalar}, @{list}, and &{dict} appropriately and explain the risk of Global variables versus the necessity of Suite scope for cross-test data flow. Expect to have good proficiency on Python.
Keyword Reusability: Expects the candidate to transform repetitive steps into parameterized User Keywords, effectively implementing a maintenance-friendly Page Object Model (POM).
Built-in & 3rd Party Libraries: Expects good understanding with 3rd party libraries like Robot Framework, DateTime, String etc
Textual Locator Strategy: Expects a \"text-first\" approach using ClickText or VerifyText and the ability to use arguments like anchor, index, and timeout to resolve ambiguity without relying on XPaths.
Data Driven Testing & Parallel Execution: Expects the candidate to explain how to use Test Template or external data files (CSV/Excel) and a parallel execution to ensure execution takes least time to get the test execution feedback.
Synchronization Strategies: Expects an understanding of QForce's Automatic Waits versus the use of SetConfig DefaultTimeout and Wait Until... keywords to handle Salesforce’s asynchronous loading.
Salesforce-Specific Elements: Expects proficiency in navigating complex Lightning components and using various salesforce specific keywords offered by copado
