Job Description
SAP HCM Consultant
As a SAP Functional Consultant , you will be responsible for configuring, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining projects; providing consultancy services; specializing in ERP products; ensuring the quality of services; and achieving customer satisfaction.
What will you do
- Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
- Propose effective work‑around or alternative solutions, oversee the selection of solutions, and estimate resources/cost required to implement the proposed solution to meet customer’s requirements.
- Manage changes to configurable items, including configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
- Conduct review & integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables before handing over to users for UAT.
- Develop technical design specifications & translate design into specifications.
- Develop test packages, execute tests, and document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
- Prepare & maintain up‑to‑date system documentation.
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Preferably at least 3 years of experience with implementation/maintenance, consulting, pre‑sales, or as an end‑user using the above product.
- Expertise in SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll (PY), and Benefits (BN).
- Good knowledge with hands‑on experience in managing IT incidents and problems.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to quickly establish the cause of system issues reported.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others to resolve problems.
- Ability to communicate information well to co‑workers and management verbally and in writing.
- Able to work independently as well as an excellent team player.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, time‑management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your work.
- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
