Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Adams, MA, serving elementary students from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position involves working within a dynamic educational environment, providing essential speech and language support to a diverse caseload at Crosby Elementary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in pre-K through 5th grade.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing communication services.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with a caseload spanning early childhood and elementary-aged children.
  • Open to discussions involving the use of Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors (Voco) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to support service delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
