School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

K-5 | Manageable Caseload | Competitive Pay

We are seeking a passionate and student-centered Speech-Language Pathologist to join a supportive school team serving grades K-5. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who values meaningful impact, a consistent schedule, and a manageable caseload.

In this role, you will work closely with educators, families, and support staff to help students reach their full communication potential in an engaging and collaborative school environment.

Position Highlights

  • Hourly Pay: Up to $85/hour

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:25 AM-4:00 PM

  • Caseload: Approximately 30 students

  • Grade Levels: Kindergarten through 5th Grade

  • Start Date: ASAP

Position Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician orders and educational goals

  • Provide direct therapy services and track student progress through clear, timely documentation

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success

  • Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and legal standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (and may be required by state or contract)

  • Illinois Professional Educator License with SLP endorsement

  • Compliance with all professional standards of practice

  • Current CPR certification, if applicable

  • Completed TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray as required)

  • Current health certificate (per state or contract requirements)

  • Must meet all local, state, and federal employment requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
