Company Description

Srikrishna Automobiles (a.k.a. Srikrishna Hero) is an Authorised Two-Wheeler Dealer of Hero Motocorp Ltd, at Baruipur, looking after the majority of South Kolkata & South 24 Parganas. We are looking for a candidate capable of handling our Accounting and Auditing operations of the business.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Baruipur. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee the Auditing operations along with accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, managing revenue and expense reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, maintaining general ledger accuracy, and supporting audit and tax-related activities. The role also involves collaborating with management to optimize financial processes and strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in the automotive industry or related sectors is an advantage
• Proficient in financial accounting, budgeting, and preparing financial statements
• Experience in account reconciliation, ledger management, and accounts payable/receivable
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance, and audit processes
• Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding of accounting software and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
