Senior Backend Developer

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency in Python, with a strong foundation in building scalable backend systems. Deep experience working with data stores like Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic, and Redis.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust, performant systems supporting complex business operations.
• A strong track record of debugging, optimizing, and resolving performance bottlenecks in production systems.
• Leadership in mentoring engineers and promoting software development best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset to align technical work with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, architect, and build scalable design systems that power critical business workflows. Investigate and fix performance issues across our data stack (Postgres, MongoDB, Elastic, Redis), ensuring reliability and speed.
• Guide and mentor developers through code reviews, design sessions, and technical deep-dives. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define engineering priorities that align with business objectives.
• Take end-to-end ownership of core systems—ensuring they're well-documented, resilient, and easy to evolve.
• Continuously evaluate and introduce new technologies or frameworks to improve system efficiency and scalability.
