Job Title: OpenText EDI Consultant / Senior EDI Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced OpenText EDI Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in OpenText EDI solutions to support and enhance the client’s existing EDI landscape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing current EDI connections, mappings, and processes, while also onboarding new business partners (customers) efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for existing OpenText EDI integrations, connections, and mappings.
• Monitor and maintain current EDI transactions, ensuring high availability and timely issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to EDI documents and communication channels.
• Onboard new business partners (customers), including:
• Requirement gathering
• Mapping development and customization
• Communication setup (AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN, etc.)
• Testing and go-live support
• Modify and enhance existing EDI maps and processes based on business requirements.
• Work closely with internal functional teams and external partners for EDI implementations.
• Ensure compliance with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.
• Maintain proper documentation of mappings, partner setups, and support processes.
• Provide performance tuning and optimization recommendations for the EDI landscape.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in OpenText EDI solutions.
• Strong experience in EDI mapping, configuration, and partner onboarding.
• Solid understanding of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, IDoc, etc.
• Experience with communication protocols like AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN.
• Ability to independently manage production support and enhancements.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working in a customer-facing environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating OpenText EDI with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Knowledge of EDI compliance requirements and best practices.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, or distribution domains is a plus.
