Engineers have trust, ownership, and real influence here working in a fast paced and performance led environment What you’ll have the Opportunity to do: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities: Build and maintain data solutions that support pricing decisions Work hands on with SQL, Postgres, and Python Take ownership of data quality, performance, and reliability Partner closely with commercial teams on business critical problems Influence technical direction as the platform evolves Get exposure to AI initiatives with learning and development support About the Candidate The right Senior Data Engineer should have: Strong experience with SQL, Postgres, and Python Background working with pricing or market driven data (commodities preferred) Highly technical and comfortable owning complex data problems Confident working close to the business and explaining technical decisions Either experienced leading technically, or showing clear potential to step into leadership Curious, driven, and keen to keep learning — particularly around AI and emerging tech Nice to Have Experience coaching or mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge Exposure to commodities, pricing, or financial market data Comfortable working closely with traders or commercial teams Familiarity with cloud platforms or modern data infrastructure Interest in AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics What’s in it for you?
