Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Job Location: Mumbai / Noida / Bangalore

• Lead and coordinate electrical and instrumentation engineering activities for power and renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Substations, Transmission, or Hybrid systems).
• Participate in the tendering phase, supporting preparation of technical scopes, BOQs, cost estimation, and bid documentation.
• Review and verify design documents, schematics, single line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and instrumentation layouts from EPC contractors or design consultants.
• Evaluate compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and relevant international standards (IEC, IS, IEEE, etc.).
• Provide technical support during design development, procurement, and construction phases.
• Review and approve electrical load calculations, protection schemes, and equipment sizing.
• Verify and validate instrumentation designs including field instruments, sensors, SCADA integration, and control philosophy.
• Ensure coordination between electrical, civil, and mechanical disciplines to maintain design consistency.
• Conduct value engineering and optimization studies to improve cost and efficiency.
• Support technical clarifications, vendor drawing reviews, and ensure timely resolution of design-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain engineering deliverables, review reports, and correspondence with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities.
• Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in utility-scale renewable power projects (solar PV plants, wind farms, hybrid, or battery energy storage systems).
• Exposure to substation and transmission interface design.
• Experience with SCADA / automation system design review and control architecture.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and provide design support during execution.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical details
