Local travel: ~10%
Compensation: $160,000-$190,000 annually

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong leadership potential for our Bethesda-based team. This individual will lead the design of complex electrical systems, manage cross-functional coordination, mentor junior staff, and serve as a client-facing representative for high-impact projects. The ideal candidate is technically strong, deeply familiar with NEC code and healthcare/lab project work, and either PE-licensed or on a clear path to licensure.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design of building electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, life safety, and specialty systems)
Oversee design documentation and QA/QC efforts
Coordinate across engineering disciplines and with clients
Mentor and review the work of junior engineers
ssist in client development and project pursuits
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years experience; 12-15 preferred
PE License in MD/DC/VA or a clear path to licensure
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office
Strong knowledge of NEC and regional codes
Experience with healthcare, lab, and institutional projects
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentorship skills
LEED certification is a plus
