Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Electronics & Motor Drives
Role Overview
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer specializing in power electronics and motor drive systems to develop next-generation industrial power platforms.
The role includes design and development of:
- High efficiency power conversion systems
- Motor drives
- Grid-connected power electronics
- Energy conversion systems
The engineer will work closely with mechanical, electronics, and control system teams developing advanced industrial equipment and robotics platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Power Electronics Design
Design and develop:
- Boost PFC converters, DC-DC converters, Inverters and motor drives, High-frequency switching power stages
Power System Architecture Design systems including:
- AC-DC front ends, DC link architectures, Energy storage and filtering, Power distribution
Motor Drive Systems Develop drive systems for:
- Switched Reluctance Motors (SRM), BLDC / PMSM motors, High-power industrial actuators
Simulation & Validation
Use simulation tools such as:
- LTSpice, PLECS, MATLAB / Simulink
Evaluate:
- Efficiency, Switching losses, Thermal performance, EMI behavior
Prototyping
- Develop power electronics prototypes, Perform power testing, Conduct efficiency and thermal characterization
Required Skills
Strong understanding of:
- Power electronics, Switching converters, MOSFET / SiC / GaN devices, Magnetics design, High power PCB layout
Preferred Experience in:
- Motor drives, Power conversion, Industrial automation, Energy systems.
