Senior Frontend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with a strong background in Angular and previous experience in the insurance industry.

Core Responsibilities

• Legacy Support: Maintain and progressively migrate existing application modules built in Angular.
• API & Backend Integration: Collaborate with backend teams to integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and secure communication.
• Data & Messaging: Implement data mapping and transformation logic to handle complex event-driven data streams from Kafka.
• Database Management: Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support data-intensive features.
• DevOps & Quality: Own the end-to-end delivery cycle by managing CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, containerizing applications with Docker, and deploying to Red Hat OpenShift.
• Code Integrity: Maintain high standards for code quality through regular SonarQube analysis, peer code reviews, and automated unit/integration testing.

Required Technical Skills

• Frontend: Angular, Responsive UI, API integration.
• Backend: Java 8+, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development.
• Database: Oracle DB with proficiency in PL/SQL.
• Integration: Kafka for asynchronous messaging and event-driven architecture.
• Platform & Tools: Git (Bitbucket), Jenkins, Docker, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Testing/Quality: SonarQube, JUnit

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in Front End Development, with at least 2+ years of recent focus on OpenShift.
• Methodology: Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
