Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join our automotive engineeringteam. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in analog and digital circuit design for automotive applications and deep knowledge of functional safety and hardware validation processes. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, analyze, and validate safety-critical automotive electronics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits for automotive systems.
• Lead and support automotive hardware development lifecycle from concept to production.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 Functional Safety standards.
• Perform and document design safety and reliability analyses including:
• WCCA (Worst Case Circuit Analysis)
• DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
• FMEDA (Failure Modes, Effects & Diagnostic Analysis)
• FTA (Fault Tree Analysis)
• Use industry tools such as Mathcad, Ansys Medini, and related EDA/safety tools.
• Collaborate with system, software, and validation teams to resolve design issues.
• Support design reviews, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in hardware design for automotive electronics.
• Strong experience in analog/digital circuit design.
• Solid understanding of automotive hardware development processes.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 26262 functional safety.
• Practical exposure to WCCA, DFMEA, FMEDA, FTA methodologies.
• Experience using Mathcad, Ansys Medini, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with safety-critical ECUs or automotive controllers.
• Knowledge of EMC/ESD, thermal analysis, and power integrity.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and compliance testing.
