Role Objective

The Senior Delivery Operations Manager Box Build will own and optimize end-to-end delivery operations across the complete box build manufacturing lifecycle from project kickoff to final shipment. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless execution, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and predictable delivery timelines, enabling scalable manufacturing operations aligned with company growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Delivery Ownership

● Own complete delivery lifecycle for Box Build programs.

● Drive execution from project initiation → production → final dispatch.

● Ensure alignment between engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and logistics teams.

● Act as the single point of accountability for delivery commitments.

2. Production Planning & Capacity Optimization

● Develop and execute production plans based on demand forecasts.

● Optimize factory capacity utilization and resource allocation.

● Manage multiple SKUs and parallel production programs efficiently.

● Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

3. Vendor Management & Procurement Coordination

● Collaborate with sourcing teams for component availability and vendor alignment.

● Manage EMS vendors, contract manufacturers, and supplier performance.

● Ensure timely procurement aligned with production schedules.

● Drive cost efficiency through vendor negotiations and sourcing strategies.

4. Manufacturing & Assembly Operations

● Oversee PCB Assembly (PCBA) and Box Build operations.

● Improve assembly workflows, line balancing, and production throughput.

● Implement best practices in manufacturing execution.

● Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards and documentation.

5. Quality Control & Compliance

● Establish and monitor quality control frameworks.

● Ensure compliance with EMS manufacturing standards and customer requirements.

● Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

● Reduce defects, rework, and production inefficiencies.

6. Logistics, Packaging & Dispatch

● Optimize packaging processes for safety, efficiency, and cost.

● Coordinate shipment readiness and dispatch planning.

● Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) performance metrics are achieved.

● Improve supply chain coordination for faster delivery cycles.

7. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

● Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

● Drive operational KPIs including:

○ On-Time Delivery (OTD)

○ Cycle Time Reduction

○ Cost Optimization

○ Production Efficiency

● Build scalable operational processes for increasing production volumes.

Experience & Expertise

● 8–10 years of experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS).

● Strong exposure to end-to-end production lifecycle management.

● Hands-on experience in:

○ Project planning & execution

○ Vendor sourcing & procurement

○ PCB Assembly (PCBA)

○ Box Build manufacturing

○ Quality control systems

○ Packaging & logistics operations
