Job Description
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years work experience in the field of Advanced Process Control
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Master’s degree is preferable.
- Ability to identify the potential areas and benefits for applying Advanced Process Control for various process Units and specify the hardware/software architecture to carry out APC implementation.
- Carry out APC & MVC implementations starting from Control Definition, Functional Design Specifications, Plant Testing, Detailed Engineering, Modeling of Controller and Estimator, Site Integration, SAT, Commissioning, Post Audit and PGTR.
- Hands on experience for commissioning APC Controllers in Refining, Petrochemical and Polymer process units.
- Multiple project co-ordination and provision of technical and managerial support for the successful completion of large APC & MVC projects for various process units, as well as the ability to lead a team of APC consultants.
- Provide advisory and maintenance support including carrying out modifications to the Control strategies to ensure higher APC up time and carry out the required APC training to plant operators & engineers.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
