Senior Software Engineer I

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in a technical leadership role for building sophisticated Loyalty APIs to power our multi-billion dollar enterprise. We are seeking an outstanding engineering talent with the experience to lead the design, solutioning and delivery of large-scale enterprise applications. The candidate should be product focused and deeply passionate about solving complex problems.

Candidate must have the ability to communicate upward to superiors and laterally to other departments, keeping the organization at large in sync and making sure that their team continues to deliver results. Demonstrated the ability to monitor multiple projects to successful completion, maintaining scope within the time and budget constraints. Capable of creating solutions that serve the business needs by leveraging leading edge technologies in an innovative and impactful manner.

Skill and Experience:

• 4+ years hands-on experience with application development tools
• 4+ years experience in software development with experience in Java/JEE, Relational / No-SQL Databases and application development.
• Experience leading and managing end-to-end integration solutions development for enterprise software or hosted high-tech services.
• Worked on initiatives to implement Microservices by applying best practices in the industry.
• Working knowledge in API, Microservices, Webservices, Rest APIs, and Application Development involving databases such as DB2, Couchbase, and Cassandra,
• Capable of performing requirement analysis, solution architecture reviews and high-level solution design, resource-based and API specification development.
• Experience working in an agile development environment with an onshore & offshore model.
• Must be results oriented having demonstrated technology leadership experience in developing cutting edge technology
• Deployment tools, CI/CD
• Exposure to logging and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Grails
• Troubleshooting, defect triaging enterprise applications has actively working on new applications or actively supporting enterprise applications. If supporting, he/she will have some experience in troubleshooting and defect triaging.

Education and Certifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
