Senior Software Engineer

What You'll do

• Drive delivery of features from concept → production with strong quality and reliability
• Own end-to-end execution across architecture, development, QA/testing, DevOps, security practices, releases, and production support
• Design and evolve scalable backend systems using Java and modern architecture patterns (CQRS, event-driven architecture, microservices)
• Build and maintain distributed messaging and streaming systems using Kafka
• Develop customer-facing web experiences using React
• Operate services in production: monitoring, alerting, debugging, incident response, and postmortems
• Partner closely with Product on roadmap execution and trade-offs
• Collaborate with Sales on technical inputs for enterprise needs and readiness
• Work with Customer Success to reduce escalations, improve rollout success, and drive customer outcomes

What we are looking for

• 2–5 years of experience building production-grade software (B2B SaaS preferred)
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred) and building APIs/services
• Working experience with AWS (e.g., EC2/ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM—any combination)
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code
• Experience with Kafka (producers/consumers, topics, partitions, at-least-once processing basics)
• Frontend experience with React (and modern JS/TS tooling)
• Observability tools and practices (logs/metrics/traces, SLO thinking)
• Strong testing mindset: unit/integration tests, automation, release readiness
• Practical security awareness: auth, data protection, OWASP basics, secure coding
• High ownership and strong communication — able to drive execution and collaborate across teams

Nice to Have

• Exposure to CQRS and/or event-driven architecture concepts in real systems
• Experience with enterprise features like SSO (SAML/OIDC), RBAC, audit logs, or compliance exposure (SOC2/ISO basics)
