Site Civil Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Site engineers plan, schedule, and monitor project progress, ensuring tasks are completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
• Technical Expertise:
• They check technical drawings and designs, provide technical advice, and troubleshoot any issues that arise on site.
• Site Preparation and Layout:
• Site engineers are responsible for preparing the site for construction, including surveys, levelling, and setting out.
• Quality Control and Safety:
• They ensure that construction work meets quality standards and that all safety regulations are followed.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Site engineers communicate with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.
• Resource Management:
• They are responsible for managing resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to ensure they are available when needed.
• Documentation:
• Site engineers maintain accurate records of all project activities, including progress reports, work orders, and change orders.

• Developing cost estimates and budgets for projects .
• Procuring necessary materials and equipment .
