About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of platform solutions and backend APIs through comprehensive manual and automated testing strategies. You will play a critical role in validating functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability across diverse technology stacks.

Job Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies for platform solutions and backend APIs

• Perform comprehensive manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and user experience

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver

• Implement automation using Robot Framework (Testforce Next preferred)

• Conduct API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools

• Perform regression, integration, performance, and load testing (Locust or similar)

• Validate applications built on Appian, Anaplan, and custom applications developed in Python, C#, and React

• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins for continuous testing

• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure validation and testing

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA/TestRail/Zephyr or similar tools

• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Participate in sprint planning, defect triage, and quality reporting

Mandatory Skills :

✔ 5–11 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing / QA

✔ Strong expertise in Manual Testing and Test Automation

✔ Proven hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver

✔ Strong experience in API testing (Postman / REST Assured)

✔ Experience in CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins

✔ Hands-on experience in performance & load testing (Locust or similar)

✔ Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies

✔ Experience testing backend services and RESTful APIs

✔ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills :

✔ Experience with Testforce Next framework

✔ Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure testing

✔ Experience testing applications built on Appian / Anaplan

✔ Familiarity with React-based front-end testing

✔ Experience testing applications developed in Python and C#

✔ Database testing experience (SQL queries, data validation)

✔ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

✔ Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

✔ ISTQB / CSTE or equivalent certification
