Job Description
The Opportunity: As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a team developing and supporting Real‑Time Displays for an interactive TechELINT processing system. The service will allow interactive control of system resources, automatic and on‑demand routing of data, display of system status, and more. The team develops and maintains RESTful services and web‑based thin‑client software applications.
Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain full stack, web‑based capabilities/applications Design, develop and maintain micro‑services interacting with a large system of other micro‑services Test, deploy and maintain software applications Assist with developing, maintaining and utilizing DevSecOps pipelines Move components to new environments Coordinate with other software and integration teams; design and coordinate interfaces with external components Follow and help refine software development processes Conduct code reviews Derive requirements through interactions with customers/users Required Qualifications: Software development skills and experience in Go/Golang, Python, JavaScript Experience with interface design, security principles, object‑oriented design, and web services Understanding of user interfaces (UIs), cross‑browser compatibility, and general web standards Linux/Unix proficiency TS/SCI clearance, willingness to complete CI Poly Certifications such as Security+ or CISSP, or willingness to attain them Desired Qualifications: Working in Agile and DevOps/DevSecOps processes Additional programming skills/experience – Java Familiarity with micro‑service architectures Familiarity with software components such as VueJS, Flask, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, RabbitMQ Familiarity with development tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Confluence/Jira, Gitlab, Jenkins, Ansible Experience working in cloud environments (AWS) Familiarity or experience with SIGINT processing systems Familiarity with signal processing software applications What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity. Pay Range The proposed salary range for this position is $79,400 - $162,700.
There are a host of factors that can influence the final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
