Job Title: Solar Senior Consultant


Job Summary:

The Solar Senior Consultant will be a key member of the Renewable Centre of Excellence, responsible for driving innovation, technical expertise, and strategic direction in solar energy software initiatives. This role focuses on the optimization of solar energy projects, with a strong emphasis on research, industry collaboration, and advanced technology adoption. The ideal candidate will combine deep domain expertise with customer facing capabilities to ensure the successful delivery of renewable energy solutions.


Responsibilities :


Technical Leadership:

  • Provide expertise in PV technical evaluations and performance assessments.
  • Guide the adoption of cutting-edge solar technologies, including bifacial panels, tracking systems, and energy storage integration.

Research and Innovation:

  • Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies in the solar energy sector.
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve solar system efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Publish technical papers and participate in conferences to represent the Centre’s expertise in solar energy.

Collaboration and Training:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support renewable energy software initiatives.
  • Build partnerships with academic institutions, industry leaders, and governmental agencies to foster innovation and knowledge exchange.

Policy and Compliance:

  • Stay updated on global and regional regulations affecting solar energy development.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Master’s/Ph.D. in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in solar energy projects.
  • Deep understanding of solar technologies, system integration, and grid dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
