We're partnering with a growing, tech-enabled organization who operates in over 120 countries with offices here in South Seattle (near South Center Mall area) that is expanding its Accounting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning meaningful pieces of the business beyond corporate accounting functions, partnering closely with leadership across departments, and contributing to a collaborative senior-level team.
About the Team
You'll join a well-rounded accounting team working directly with other Sr. Accountant's that have their own defined areas of responsibilities while still working together to create a cohesive, high-performing function. This structure offers both clear ownership and consistent collaboration.

What You'll Own
This position comes with a high-impact portfolio that extends beyond traditional month-end responsibilities. The incoming Sr. Accountant will take on a blend of corporate accounting duties, operational partnership, and analytical work, including:
- Managing operational (marketing, sales, ops.)- related accounting activities, including actuals vs. projections
- Working closely with senior leadership, including weekly meetings with Senior Leadership
- Overseeing amortization of prepaids tied to usage and spend patterns
- Managing business impact programs, including tracking related inventory, revenue, and operating expenses
- Supporting ongoing operational accounting needs and ensuring accuracy and clarity across cross-functional cost centers
- Contributing to month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, and various ad hoc projects
What Helps You Succeed Here
- Strong Senior-level accounting experience in a mid-to-large company or 3+ years of experience directly from public accounting - preference to mid to large / national to big 4 sized firms
- Ability to manage a defined set of responsibilities with accuracy, accountability, and initiative
- A collaborative communication style, especially when partnering with leaders in non-finance functions
- Comfort navigating recurring responsibilities with regular interactions across the business
- Curiosity around process improvements and desire to understand the why behind numbers
- Solid Excel skills; experience with, or interest in learning, SQL or analytical tools - highly desired
- Hybrid schedule: 2 days in office, 3 days from home
- A team that values communication, clarity, and cross-functional partnership
- Flexibility around start / end times and a strong sense of shared accountability across the group
- Base salary targeted between approximately $95K - $115K (base DOE) + 10% bonus
