Education Requirement: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Engineering (Mandatory)

Role Overview:

Administer, configure, and maintain Azure Synapse Analytics environments. Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Synapse workspaces across enterprise data projects.

Key Responsibilities:

•      Provision, configure, and manage Azure Synapse Analytics workspaces and dedicated SQL pools

•      Administer Synapse pipelines, linked services, integration runtimes, and triggers

•      Monitor workspace health, query performance, and resource utilisation

•      Manage role-based access control (RBAC), private endpoints, and data encryption

•      Implement backup, disaster recovery, and data retention policies

•      Collaborate with data engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve Synapse issues

•      Automate administrative tasks using Azure DevOps and PowerShell/ARM templates

Required Skills:

•      In-depth knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics architecture and components

•      Strong experience with dedicated and serverless SQL pools, Spark pools

•      Proficiency in T-SQL, PowerShell, and Azure CLI

•      Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and alerting frameworks

•      Experience with Azure DevOps for infrastructure automation and release management

•      Understanding of networking concepts: VNet, private links, firewall rules
