Job Description
Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed B2B SaaS company building a highly technical product used by engineering teams.
They are looking for a Technical Support Engineer who can operate at a high technical level, owning complex customer issues end-to-end, debugging deeply across integrations, and acting as a key bridge between customers, product, and engineering.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys solving real technical problems and improving systems in a fast-paced startup environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Investigate authentication issues (OAuth, API keys) and provider-specific edge cases
- Work directly with customer engineers via Slack, email, and video calls
- Own issues end-to-end, from initial triage through to resolution
- Partner closely with Product & Engineering to elevate bugs and influence roadmap priorities
- Build and maintain internal and external documentation
- Identify patterns in support issues and improve tooling, automation, and processes
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 3-8 years of experience in full-stack engineering or technical support within B2B SaaS
- Background working in high-growth, VC-backed startups (Seed to Series C)
- Strong experience debugging API-driven or integration-heavy products
Technical Skills
- Proficient in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with React and PostgreSQL
- Strong understanding of APIs, data flows, and system architecture
Other
- Based in NYC or willing to relocate for an in-office role
- Strong communicator, able to work directly with technical customers
