TECHNICIAN GALLUS

POSITION INTRODUCTORY: A Gallus Technician is responsible for maintenance, and troubleshooting of Gallus printing presses used in label and packaging production. The role ensures high-quality print output, machine reliability, and adherence to safety and production standards.

RESPONSIBLITIES: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on Gallus Labelmaster 440 and Labelmaster 340.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, operational and printing-related issues to minimize downtime.Replace worn parts and ensure proper lubrication of components.Maintain accurate maintenance logs.Report any major issues to Ass Mgr. Engineering and suggest improvementsAdhere to all safety policies, procedures, and legislation to ensure a safe working environment

QUALIFICATIONS: Education from Technical diploma or equivalent in Printing or Mechanical EngineeringStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to read technical manuals and troubleshoot mechanical.Possess a positive personality and be able to approach people at all levels.Familiarity with Flexo inks, substrates (e.g., BOPP, PET, PVC), and colour management systems.Strong oral and written skills in English
