TRUCK DRIVER

Truck Driver (Full Time, Permanent) 6 POSITIONS – $26.50 per hour – RIGAUD, QC (Quebec Inc. O/A Manak Logistics). Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: Will train. Location: On-site only, no remote work. Responsibilities Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.

Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection; oversee all aspects of vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance.

Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.

Credentials Air Brakes Endorsement Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) Experience and Specialization Documentation knowledge Accident or incident reports Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Maintenance and repair reports Trip reports Communication Systems Experience Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
