Job Title: UK Accountant

Job Location: Shyamal, Ahmedabad

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented UK Accountant to manage accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities in line with UK regulations. The role involves working closely with internal teams and/or UK clients to ensure accurate financial records and timely statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS and statutory requirements
• Prepare and file VAT returns, Corporation Tax computations, and supporting schedules
• Manage bank reconciliations, journals, and general ledger entries
• Support year-end accounts and liaise with auditors
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports
• Handle payroll coordination (if applicable)
• Respond to HMRC queries and ensure timely filings
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an Accountant handling UK accounts
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and HMRC compliance
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
• Good understanding of VAT, Corporation Tax, and statutory reporting
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
