About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of IT to spearhead the organization's technology vision and drive modernization, standardization, and scalability across its multi-site environment. This pivotal role requires a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution in various IT domains, including infrastructure, applications, security, and enterprise systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for modernizing legacy systems, leading integration efforts for newly acquired businesses, standardizing network operations, and strengthening cybersecurity and disaster recovery readiness. Additionally, the VP of IT will oversee IT operations, project delivery, vendor partnerships, and budget management, while also working to improve data architecture and establish a single source of truth. Candidates for the VP of IT position at the company should have a proven track record of leadership within organizations in the $500M-$1B revenue range, with experience in managing large IT teams across multiple locations. Hands-on experience in infrastructure, networking, applications, cybersecurity, and data management is essential, as is a background in ERP, WMS, transportation systems, CRM, and distribution/logistics environments. M&A integration experience is also a key requirement. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, experience in wholesale distribution or logistics, and a background in AI, warehouse automation, and modern integration platforms. The role is 100% onsite with the flexibility for appointments and may involve travel of up to 30% across U.S., Canada, and U.K. locations.
