Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Execution Provide executive oversight for the successful execution of EPC projects from project award through commissioning and closeout. Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality objectives. Establish governance, execution strategies, and project management standards across the portfolio. Monitor project performance metrics, proactively identifying risks and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and regulatory standards. Leadership & Organizational Management Lead and mentor a team of Project Directors, Project Managers, and Project Controls professionals. Build a high‑performance project management organization focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence. Drive workforce planning and talent development within the project management function. Promote a strong safety culture and commitment to operational integrity. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the executive point of contact for key clients and strategic project partners. Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, joint venture partners, subcontractors, and suppliers. Lead executive‑level project reviews with clients and internal stakeholders. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities. Commercial & Financial Performance Oversee project financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, and cost control. Partner with estimating, contracts, and commercial teams to support project bidding and execution strategies. Manage change orders, claims, and contract negotiations when necessary. Drive margin improvement and risk mitigation across the project portfolio. Strategic & Operational Leadership Develop and implement project management strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Standardize project management processes, tools, and reporting methodologies. Support business development efforts by participating in proposal reviews, client presentations, and contract negotiations. Identify opportunities to improve execution efficiency, digital tools, and project delivery models. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline required. Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), or Project Management preferred. Experience Experience in engineering, construction, or project management within the EPC industry. Experience managing large capital projects or project portfolios. Proven experience delivering large‑scale industrial or energy projects (e.g., LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, infrastructure). Demonstrated success managing multi‑billion‑dollar EPC projects and complex stakeholder environments. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and organizational management capabilities. Deep knowledge of EPC project execution, project controls, and contract management. Financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and profitability. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of risk management and commercial strategy in EPC projects. Deep knowledge and experience in iPMT structured execution. Other Specific Requirements Must be based in Houston. Must be willing to travel up to at least 50% of time, potentially more.
