The Role

We are looking for a highly creative and skilled Video Editor to join the apna team. This role requires expertise across the entire video production lifecycle, from shooting and editing high-quality, genuine content, to creating compelling motion graphics for our rapidly growing digital platforms.

Responsibilities

• Video Production & Shooting: Plan, manage, and execute high-quality video shoots to capture raw footage.
• Editing & Post-Production: Edit and assemble footage into short, crisp, and high-impact video content for campaigns and upskilling modules.
• Software Mastery: Utilize professional editing suites, including Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, to deliver polished final videos.
• Motion Graphics: Design, animate, and incorporate motion graphics and visual effects (using Adobe Creative Suite/After Effects) to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.
• Quality Control: Ensure all video outputs adhere to our brand's design language, style, and quality standards, specifically focusing on natural-looking, genuine footage and avoiding low-quality AI artifacts.
• Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement AI tools to accelerate and enhance the video editing and production workflow, such as tools that generate intermediate frames from keyframes.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in video shooting and cinematography.
• Expert proficiency in video editing and post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong expertise in motion graphics and animation, ideally using Adobe After Effects or other Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Demonstrated ability to produce short-form, high-engagement content for social distribution (Reels, Shorts, etc.).
• A portfolio showcasing high-quality, visually appealing, and results-driven video work.

Bonus Points

• Experience in leveraging AI tools for faster and more efficient video production and editing workflows.
• Familiarity with the content requirements for career companions or upskilling platforms like the Apna
• Experience prioritizing high-impact content & motion design skills
