Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Codestratz. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, social media, advertisements, and branding purposes.

Daily tasks include handling end-to-end editing and final delivery. The role involves working closely with the marketing team to create engaging, high-performing video creatives, ensuring consistency in brand storytelling, and delivering outputs within tight timelines.

The ideal candidate should be capable of independently editing professional-grade videos, and delivering final outputs optimized for multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations

• Expertise in color grading and visual enhancement techniques

• Experience in creating ad creatives, reels, and performance marketing videos

• Familiarity with AI video creation tools for faster and scalable content production

• Strong storytelling and creative visualization skills

• Ability to deliver high-quality videos under tight deadlines

• Knowledge of different video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements (Instagram, YouTube, Ads, etc.)

• Basic understanding of sound design and audio editing

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote setup

• Experience in working with brands or agencies is a plus

• Knowledge of photography is a plus
