THE ROLE

You’ll be the engine behind our daily short form content. From original Instagram content to repurposing long form YouTube videos into high-performing shorts — you move fast, edit sharp, and know what stops the scroll.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Edit and deliver 1–2 short form videos daily across Instagram Reels and Shorts
• Repurpose long form YouTube content (12–15 min) into punchy, standalone short clips
• Create original short form edits from dedicated shoots and raw footage
• Switch between editing styles — fast cuts, clean educational, meme energy — depending on what the content demands
• Add motion graphics, text overlays, captions, and sound design to maximise engagement
• Stay on top of trending formats, transitions, and platform-specific best practices
• Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Production Manager on output quality

WHAT YOU BRING

MUST HAVE

• Proven short form editing experience with a portfolio or reel
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and attention-retention techniques
• Ability to edit in multiple styles — not a one-trick editor
• Fast turnaround without compromising quality

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with AI tools for editing workflows (Runway, Descript, etc.)
• Motion graphics and animation skills
• Understanding of the AI/tech education space
• Experience working with personal brands or creators
• Understanding of Instagram and YouTube Shorts algorithms and best practices
